I've been to the "Carretta in Cannubi" restaurant in Piedmont with a group of 5 friends. I tried the Tasting Menu, indulging in excellent truffle and great wine. The service was outstanding, with costs in line with the quality of the food. The staff was very kind, and the place discreet, well-kept, and elegant, situated on top of a hill with a very beautiful panorama.

Had an absolutely outstanding dinner here last night -from the food to the wine to the surroundings to the service, we could not have asked for a more lovely and relaxing evening. Everything was top quality, and the service was some of the best we’ve ever experienced. I will not soon forget our evening at this wonderful restaurant and will definitely return when we come back to the area.
Very nice place, friendly service and overall good food. The raw veal fillet was exceptional! The catch of the day (tuna) was a bit overcooked, but that might be personal.

Our favourite restaurant in the Langhe. Gianni and his family make it a special experience. Great location. Gorgeous restaurant. Wonderful food. Gianni's mom makes the pasta. I had her plin three times during our trip. Excellent wine list with some really good values. Top notch service. Make a reservation. It's that good.
The last stop of our truffle foodie tour was in the Barolo area. After seeing all these wonderful sites and restaurants I had to be honest my expectations were low… and I was swept off my feet. First, this is by far the most beautiful settings we have seen with endless panoramic views of the surrounding vineyards. And then the food was just exquisite, Italian classic revisited with flair and we just didn’t want to leave the restaurant. A must go
